Faculty
About the Department of Commerce has the privilege and honour of being the foundational unit of the college. The human capital of the department is an amalgam of the seasoned and the younger faculty backed by a state-of-the-art infrastructural capital.
Harnessing the best of the National Educational Policy (NEP) 2020, we offer a carefully curated portfolio of Discipline specific elective, value-addition and skill-enhancement courses like advanced spreadsheet tools, financial modelling with excel, as well as Ethics & Culture to provide experience of the futuristic as well as ancient wisdom and knowledge.
Special Lectures; Competence Building Workshops; Seminars & Conferences; Educational Excursions managed by self-organising teams of the faculty members and students are inherent aspects of the immersive learning experience that we provide to our learners. Our annual academic festival Zucitva- emphasising the ideals of Purity, Honesty, and Integrity-proactively yearns to reach out to the higher in higher education in commerce.
Our student council, ‘commUnity’ recognises you the learners and scholars of the department - signified by the capital ‘U’- as our raison d’être or purpose of our existence. We are because you are.
Our interactions are not power-driven; rather, these are empowering. We are not passive delivery persons of a curriculum; we are active learners ourselves. We believe in the mutually transformative nature of the teaching-learning process. We wish that you discover the passionately compelling reason to be in the college and immerse your whole self in the activities of the department every day!
