2017-2018
  • August 21, 2017: The chapter conducted its annual orientation programme in an event graced by Ms. Usha Ravichandran, State Chairperson of Spicmacay and Coordinator of Delhi Centre Mr. Shailendra Mohan, Senior Volunteer, Ms. Sucheta Banerjee along with Ms. Tulika Niyogi.  75 students enrolled themselves as volunteers for the society.
  • September 25, 2017: The world renowned Bharatanatyam exponent, Sushree Malavika Sarukkai ji accompanied by Nellai A. Balaji on Mridangam, S. Srilatha on Nattuvangam , Srilakshmi Venkataramani on Violin and Murali Parthasarathy on Vocals gave the inaugural performance which mesmerized the gathering of students and faculty alike.
2016-2017
 
The chapter conducted its annual orientation program on 6th September 2016. The event was graced by both Chairman and National Treasurer SPICMACAY Mr. Arun Sahay and Mr. Siddharth Banerjee alongwith Mr. K. Vaidyanath, Media person dealing. A lot of students enrolled themselves as volunteers for the same. The world renowned Carnatic Violinist, Lalgudi G. J. R. Krishnanji, accompanied by M.V. Chander Shekharji on mridangam gave the inaugural performance on 5th October 2016. The Violin recital mesmerized the gathering of the students and faculty alike. The performance of international artists Kengo Saito (Afghani Rubab) and Fakhroddin Ghaffari (Persian/ Middle Eastern Percussions) organized by NSIT at our premesis enthralled the audience. The year 2017 activities were inaugurated by an Odissi lecture-demonstration by Padmashree Ranjana Gauharji on 27th March, 2017. She enthralled the audience by her performance and made sure that everyone in the audience took with him/her a piece of her art.
 
2015-2016
 
The Spic Macay chapter of the college has been an active, applauded and one of the best hosts to the cultural programs of this movement. On 24th August 2015, Mrs. Usha Ravichandran and Ms. Suman Doonga from its Executive Board gave the introductory remarks followed by the inaugural performace by a world renowned Sarangi Maestro , Pt. Biwsajit Roy Chowdhury ji, on 3rd September 2015. The Sarangi recital mesmerized the gathering of the students and faculty alike. 
 
The year 2016 activitieswere inaugurated by a Kathak lecture-demonstration by PreranaShrimaliji on9thFebruary, 2016. She enthralled the audience by her performance and made sure that everyone in the audience took with them, a piece of her art. 
A three days pottery workshop was conducted from February 22 to 24, 2016under the guidance of Shri Om Prakash Galavji, a world record holder and a national awardee. About 30 students learnt the tender art of pottery, making clay figurines and intricate kaagzi pottery. 
 
The screenings of iconic films Wild Strawberries by Ingmar Bergman and Charulata by Satayjit Ray were arranged on 1st March 2016.  The yearly activities were culminated by a heritage walk to Ghalibki Haveli accompanied by the historian Ms. Aradhna through the lanes of Chandni Chowk. She talked about the changing faces of Chandni Chowk over a period of time.
 
2014-2015
 
On 22 August 2014, the SPICMACAY Chapter of Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College conducted its annual orientation program for the year 2014-15 in the seminar room of the college. The students were extremely happy and content with the mysticism they witnessed, of a movement like SPIC MACAY. A lot of students enrolled themselves as volunteers for the same. The programme was graced by Mr. K. Vaidyanath, Marketing Head of SPICMACAY, Mr. C.S. Pancham and Ms. Usha Ravichandran,chairperson of Delhi and NCR activities of SPICMACAY. The guests were extremely pleased with the turnout of almost 100 students.  The former vice-principal, Dr. Vandana Gupta expressed her happiness over the pioneer work that SPIC MACAY and the college chapter has been doing over the past year and extended full support to push the movement forward.
 
As a part of the Virasat 2014 series, the SPIC MACAY Chapter of Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College organised a 5 day workshop on the craft of Paper Mache from 7 October 2014 to 11 October 2014 in the college multi purpose hall. Shri Chakradhar Lal guided the students and shared his knowledge about the craft. The students began by learning about the craft on the first day, making the semi-solid paste and the base structures on the second day. They all enjoyed moulding the paste and forming objects they wished for. The students enjoyed playing with paints, mud and helped each other in completing their sculptures. WIth a participation of approximately 50 students, the workshop acquainted the students with a dying art form and culminated on a high note.
