Kalrav‘17 was held from 2nd March to 4th March 2017. The festival was inaugurated with the flagship Kalamkaar Kavi Sammelan on the evening of 2nd March. Dr. Suresh Awasthi, renowned Hasya Kavi, graced the occasion as the chief guest and enthralled a full auditorium of eager listeners with his powerful words. Poets like Rahul Awasthi, Gauri Mishra and Prakhyat Mishra also presented their poems to the audience. The intercollege events and performances of the fest began on 3rd March and extended to 4th March with Events like Business Tambola, Blind Fold, Film making competition, Solo singing, Face painting, Anjana Anjani, Mono act, Battle of Bands, Online Dubsmash, Entertainment quiz, Western Group dance, Cric Buzzand Street Play etc. The highlight of the event was the efforts of the students to bring best out of waste. The decoration of the Fest entrance and lanterns were made entirely out of waste posters, waste papers and other waste products. Ms. Mansi, an Indian Idol participant was invited as the judge for the Solo Singing Competition. The success of the Fest can only be described by the overwhelming number of participants from various colleges of Delhi University and other institutions in and around Delhi as was evident from list of prize winners of different competitions. The list include students from Indrapastha University, Motilal Nehru College, Keshav Mahavidyalaya, Shivaji College, Deshbandhu College, Delhi College of Arts and Commerce, Janki Devi Memorial College, Sri Vankateshwara College, Aurobindo College, Zakir Hussein College and Institute of Home Economics and students of the host College. The fest was concluded with the star night on 4th March. Popular Bollywood singer Jubeen Nautiyal enthralled the audience with his live performance in the College grounds.
