Career Profile

DR Nisha Rana is former Vice Principal at Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College, University of Delhi.

She is recently promoted to the position of Professor of Commerce in her college.

An alumnus of Shri Ram College of Commerce Dr. Rana completed her M.Phil and Doctorate in the area of Organizational Behaviour and Development from Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi.

She is awarded the ‘Distinguish Teacher Award’ from Govt. of NCT of Delhi for the Year 2012-13.

Professional Experience: Dr. Rana has approximately 27 years of teaching experience in the specific areas of Organization Behaviour, Organization Change and Human Resource Management for undergraduate and postgraduate courses. She has Four books and a number of Articles in National and International journals to her credit.

Dr. Nisha Rana has conducted sessions in many universities of the country as a resource person in UGC sponsored National workshops on Capacity Building of Women Managers in Higher Education. Her specific interest lies in Role of Women in Academic Leadership.She is actively involved in social work through various initiatives especially among young girls and women. She has conducted a number of training workshops/seminars and conferences on women empowerment.
